Traditional Yamagata Kokeshi – 30 cm
Yamagata style has a small head, with bangs, side fringes, hair decorations and double eye lids. Noses are different, this is a spilt one. The body is slim and straight, with lines and flowers motifs. Notice the slightly sideways gaze and the impression of calm wisdom: this doll remembers us the Mona Lisa!
