Big vintage traditional Tōgatta Kokeshi – 46 cm
Tōgatta are one of the oldest traditional styles, maybe older than Naruko. The head is large, with tegara patterns, that seems to be based on hair ornaments of dolls made to replicate Kyoto geisha. Bangs are split in two. Another feature is the eyes in the shape of a crescent moon. On the body, mostly plum branches or chrysanthemums decorations.
This on, despite her size, looks a little embarrassed, with those cute red cheeks.
